Vehicle frame
Green Project offers a solution to identify car or truck chassis by an indelible Vehicle Identification Number (V.I.N.) indented in the metal by its PUMA Mono punching unit fixed to a manipulator to clamp it onto the marking area.
The unique features of this system are the excellent quality of the marking, the good indenting depth (in order to avoid counterfeit), the high marking speed, the low noise (reached by means of special fittings and a special Green Project design).
Main Marking Features
- Static (vehicle stopped under marking machine)

- Height of symbols from 3 mm to 20 mm, in one or more lines
System configuration
- PUMA Mono marking head
- Manipulator manoeuvred simply and safely by an operator, that guarantees
- a stiff support for the head,
- a precise positioning of the head,
- a strong clamp around the marking area in order to reduce the noise consequent the marking operation.
- Balancer for sustaining the manipulator
- Transport system (rails and trolleys overhanging the marking emplacement) to which the balancer (and the stamping device) are hung
- Pneumatic panel
- Power and control cabinet
- Control desk with HMI
Functional features
Selection of stamping parameters (percussion force and frequency, marking position and orientation), characters fonts, graphic jobs, real time tracking of the marking
Data to be marked can be filled in by the operator via keyboard or arrive from Host.
After positioning and clamping the device, the operator gives the START command and the stamping head automatically marks the characters.
Host connection (RS232, Ethernet, Profibus or other common industrial fieldbus)
Optional functions
- Bar code reader to input marking data from existing production documents
- Marking a Data Matrix code readable by a standard reader (combined marking / reading function to achieve the automatic tracking of product)
