PUMA Hammer for Billets - Blooms – B.B.
PUMA Hammer is a heavy duty punching system capable to mark characters on the surface of hot products (typically blooms, billets and beam blanks), defined by series of segments deeply indented in the metal surface.
Segments are sequentially indented, moving and rotating a single hard metal chisel at high speed; this assures a better penetration of the single segments which form the character even on irregular surfaces differently from systems which punch a whole character in a single shot.
The system assures excellent reliability and permanent marking even in worst storage conditions.
