Green Project supplies ink jet marking machines specifically designed to operate in the steel making environment; different models are available, to mark “on the fly” and at high speed the strip in horizontal or vertical arrangement, on top and/or bottom surfaces, in one or more lines whatever arranged on the strip width.
The symbols which can be marked are letters and numbers with several different fonts and 2D codes.
All models can be equipped with ink units for marking small characters (ink jet) or bigger characters (DOD).
Special devices are available for blowing off oil, water, dust before marking and for fast drying the ink.
Other special machines used for the strip in the portfolio of Green Project are:
• Machine for on the fly marking a line pattern on the tinned strip to distinguish the various tin thicknesses
• Machine for off line measuring of strip waviness.
